Dominic Mensah
Co-Founder and CEO

Founder & CEO

Dominic, an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School, holds a double major degree in Mathematics and Economics from Pomona College. Passionate about solving complex problems, Dominic spent 3 years at EY-Parthenon’s New York office executing commercial due diligence on acquisitions for technology-focused private equity firms. He was a lead in the EY’s Food Systems Reimagined and helped author the 2023 EY Food and Agriculture Navigator

Dominic’s journey embodies a powerful blend of expertise, compassion, and impact-driven innovation. Raised by parents who were farmers in a community that lacked access to decent jobs, food, portable water, and education, Dominic experienced firsthand the challenges of living in poverty. Driven by a goal to create opportunities he lacked growing up, he founded Dombelfarms as a passion project in college to provide technical education, operations management and financing to farmers in his village.

Christabel Osei-Du

Tech Lead

Christabel, a multifaceted professional with degrees in Nursing, Biology, and Chemistry, discovered her love for cooking, food and nutrition at 12 years old while helping her mother operate a restaurant. Christabel envisions reimaging healthy food products and creating value-added food products that customers love. She believes that journey begins with empowering the smallholder farmers who grow ~70% of the food we eat.
